Malabar Paneer is a thick and creamy paneer gravy, which is made in the traditional South Indian style. This delicious dish is made with paneer cubes that are soaked in masaledar coconut curries. This dish is easy to prepare and a must-try for all coconut lovers.
Ingredients of Malabar Paneer
- 250 gms Paneer cubes
- 1/4 cup Capsicum cubes
- 1/2 cup Coconut Milk
- 1 medium Onion (Chopped)
- 1/2 cup Tomato cubes
- 2-3 Green chillies, chopped
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric
- A pinch of Asafoetida
- 1/2 tsp Coriander Powder
- 1/2 tsp Cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp chilli powder
- 2 tsp oil
- Salt to taste
In a kadhai heat oil and saute onions, tomatoes capsicum, green chillies, and capsicum for 3-4 minutes.
Add hing and turmeric powder. Mix it thoroughly.
Let the coconut milk simmer in the saucepan.
Mix the paneer cubes with the coconut gravy. Cover the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes.
