A mother will appear in court after she was allegedly detected driving more than twice the legal limit while dropping kids off at school in NSW’s Central West.
On Monday, 8.52am, police officers were patrolling Dubbo’s school zones when they saw a Hyundai SUV double-parked while its driver dropped off children.
Police spoke with the driver, a 42 year-old woman who failed a roadside breath test.
The police took the woman and her three year-old son to the station.
Officers performed a breath test, which returned a reading of.121.
The woman’s licence was immediately suspended and she was issued with a court attendance notice.
